From 20 to 22 July 2022, the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) in Malawi conducted a missionary animation for the seminarists of Kachebere, at St Anthony's Major Seminary of Philosophy, Mchinji District, Archdiocese of Lilongwe.
The animation aimed to:
- Awaken the missionary spirit among the seminarists.
- Help them understand the role of the PMS in the universal and local Church.
- Prepare them with missionary and pastoral skills for the 2 months of experiences in parishes in August and September 2022.
- Support them to prepare for Mission Month in October and the four anniversary celebrations on World Mission Sunday, 23 October.
Thanks to Rector Father Patrick Simutowe, staff and seminarians of the major seminary for their hospitality and willingness to be animated.
