The Pontifical Mission Societies USA Launch New Website to Share the Work of the Missions

On the Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord, when Jesus revealed His divine glory to the apostles, The Pontifical Mission Societies USA (TPMS) launches a new website, consolidating the donor-friendly features of Missio.org and the children’s platform mcakids.org, under one comprehensive platform:www.pontificalmissions.org.

This significant transition brings all the activity of the four Pontifical Mission Societies into a single, dynamic space—making it easier than ever for Catholics in the United States to support Pope Leo XIV’s mission to bring the Gospel to the peripheries of the world.

“This consolidated website reflects our desire to serve American Catholics better,” said Monsignor Roger J. Landry, National Director of The Pontifical Mission Societies USA. “We know that by bringing everything together in one place—missionary stories, Gospel reflections, donor opportunities, and activities for children to be introduced to the missions—we are helping people continue their essential role in praying for and supporting the Holy Father’s efforts across 1,124 mission territories and dioceses throughout the world.”

The launch follows Pope Leo XIV’s call to “communicate beauty,” encouraging the Church to be “a light that draws hearts to Christ.” The new website embraces that vision by placing the lives and testimonies of missionaries at its center—those women and men who, every day, fulfill the Great Commission to "go and make disciples of all nations" (Mt 28:19).

Among the website’s features:

  • Testimonies from Mission Territories, offering firsthand stories of faith, sacrifice, and transformation.
  • Weekly Gospel Reflections by Fr. Anh Nhue Nguyen, General Secretary of the Pontifical Missionary Union.
  • Access to the weekly podcast and the quarterly publication Mission Magazine.
  • Interactive Donor Opportunities, including projects dedicated to:
  •
    • The Society for the Propagation of the Faith, supporting pastoral outreach, catechesis, the construction of churches, and health and education needs.
    • The Society of the Holy Childhood, serving vulnerable children through faith formation and protection initiatives.
    • The Society of St. Peter the Apostle, fostering and supporting priestly and religious vocations in young Churches.

“All of us as Catholics have the mission to reveal the radiant face of Christ to those who don’t yet know Him,” Monsignor Landry added. “This new website allows us to shine that transfigured light more brightly and invite others to be part of the Church’s life-giving, missionary vocation.”
