Our mission focuses on nuclear families that live in 230 local communities along the shores of the Negro river (Gonzalo Moreno, Warnes, Cachuela Experanza Gauyaramerin, Santa Maria Nazaret, Palma Folor and Etea) and the shores of the Madre de Dios River (Beni, Orthon and Muanuripi). The IPR is a group of itinerate missionaries composed of 2 women religious and three lay persons.

The objectives and goals of the Institute involve the formation and accompaniment, both personal and communitarian, of those who live on the peripheries of Pando and Riberalta, two centres of municipal services and the heart of the local Church.

According to official statistics published by the Holy See in 2020, the Apostolic Vicariate of Pando has a surface area of 86,2611 km2, 264.719 inhabitants, 204.363 Catholics, 8 parishes, 1 churches/chapels, 13 diocesan priests, 4 religious priests,  4 seminarians, 6 religious brothers, 17 religious sisters, 24 schools, and 8 charitable institutions.
