VENEZUELA: PMS makes the official DOMUND 2026 website available

The Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) of Venezuela have already made available the official website for the 2026 World Mission Sunday (DOMUND) campaign, a space that brings together all the digital resources prepared for the animation, formation and celebration of Missionary October in parishes, communities and institutions throughout the country.

Inspired by the message of Pope Leo XIV for the Centenary of DOMUND, whose motto is “United in Christ, united in mission,” the portal offers materials aimed at strengthening the missionary spirit and promoting cooperation with the universal mission of the Church.

The resources available include missionary animation materials for children, adolescents, young people, families, the elderly, the sick and consecrated persons, as well as a prayer and celebration resource for communities.

Users can also download the official poster, sacred images, stickers, the missionary collection box and wallpapers for mobile phones and computers.

Printed materials for local Churches

At the same time, PMS Venezuela have begun distributing the printed materials that will accompany the Missionary October campaign. In recent weeks, the resources have been sent and delivered to dioceses and ecclesiastical jurisdictions throughout the country to support missionary animation activities in parishes, schools, movements and communities.

World Mission Sunday (DOMUND) is the universal day of the Church dedicated to promoting prayer, solidarity and cooperation with the missions. Celebrated every year on the penultimate Sunday of October, it invites all the baptized to renew their commitment to proclaiming the Gospel and to contribute, through prayer and financial support, to the work of evangelization carried out by missionaries in mission territories and in the world's most needy communities.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of World Mission Sunday, the Pontifical Mission Societies invite the entire Church in Venezuela to prepare for this celebration in a spirit of communion, remembering that mission is the responsibility of all the baptized and that spiritual and material cooperation makes possible the proclamation of the Gospel in mission territories and in those communities that today are most in need of hope.
