On May 3, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Motu Proprio Romanorum Pontificum of Pope Pius XI with which the Holy Father conferred the Society of the Holy Childhood to Pontifical, the International Secretariat of the Society is organizing a webinar.

The initiative in which all those who collaborate at a national and diocesan level with the PMS, with the Society of Missionary Childhood and whoever wants to deepen the theme entitled "History, charism and spirituality of the Society of the Holy Childhood" are invited to participate.

Webinar speakers: Professor Father Juan Carlos Carvajal Blanco, priest of the diocese of Madrid and professor of the Faculty of Theology of the Ecclesiastical University of San Dámaso, and Rafael Santos Barba, philologist and editor, director since 2013 of the magazine of missionary pastoral care, Illuminare, of the Pontifical Mission Societies in Spain, authors of the book from which the conference takes its cue.

Almost 180 years after the foundation of the Society of the Holy Childhood and a century after the conferral of the title of Pontifical, this text allows for an in-depth study on the origins of the Society of the Holy Childhood or Missionary Childhood and Adolescence, on its charisma, gift of the Holy Spirit to Archbishop Charles de Forbin-Janson, and his spirituality to better understand the educational content of this Society, its role in the evangelizing mission of the Church and its relevance.
