Teen's school of mission this time has the theme: "Friendship of Surabaya - being friendly, involved, being a blessing". As many as 80 participants from 14 dioceses met in Surabaya, to be precise in Griya Samadhi Resi Aloysii, Mligi Hamlet, Claket, Pacet District, Mojokerto Regency in East Java, from 17 to 19 February 2023.

This short encounter for 2 days has truly brought extraordinary happiness to all teenage participants aged 12-16 years, including assistants and directors from various dioceses who returned to meet directly after going through restrictions in the Pandemic period for more than 2 years.

The spirit at the beginning of this encounter began with welcoming the body and blood of Christ at the opening mass, led by Father Maman from the Bandung Diocese, officially accepting the presence of all participants and supporting teams of this event.

All participants, made an introduction alternately per diocese group. During the first evening, the virtual intervention made by the National Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies Indonesia, Fr. Markus Nur Widipranoto was very important. In his speech, the National Director invites the participants to "Have a good training, be always happy, follow the process with commitment, diligent and loyal". Subsequently there was the general explanation of the event by Kak Ratna. The first day ends with the Eucharistic adoration and the invitation to pray for each other.

During the second day, all participants prepared themselves to attend the main event that had been awaited, that is, the outbound. Everyone have to face various challenges and group games that must be completed within 3 hours.
