On the weekend of March 18 and 19, the vocational camp that is organized once a month in the northern region of Phnom Penh took place at St.Joseph parish, Phsar Touch, Phnom Penh. On this occasion, about 80 boys and girls from many communities such as Phsar Touch, Svay Pak, Sen Sok, Prek Taten, Kampong Luong, Arey Ksat and Po Thom - Kdei Kandal, were registered.
The event program was managed by Deacon Bunly, Sr. Benedicta and Sr. Maria from Sacred Heart of Jesus of Bangkok and, as a guideline, was followed the mission of the pastoral sector "Family, Youth and Vocation". This program has the purpose to encourage the vocation of the local church among the young people with the topic "Jesus calls you".
The prepared activities lead them to know first and differently in their lives: the Word of God, the people around us and their hearts. During the first evening the program included a moment of Eucharistic adoration and meditation on the words of Matthew 4: 18-22, followed by various activities and group games. The following morning everyone attended Mass after which other meetings and activities were organised. Participants were invited to reflect on Mother Teresa's words "When we listen to Him in silence, we begin to pray" and to answer some questions to help reflection.
