ACTS OF COMPASSION of the Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam in the Holy season of advent 2020.
The whole Archdiocese, His Grace Jude Thaddaeus Ruwa'lchi, OFM-Cap, the PMS Director, Holy Childhood animators, priests and the faithful, worked together as a team to put a smile back on the faces of the needy.
The archdiocese donated money as well as food and other artefacts in various homes and centers for the orphaned children, the elderly, children with disabilities, children in prison, etc.
Total donations (money and supplies) amounted to TZS 22,364,000.00 (twenty two million three hundred sixty four thousand) (US$ 9,724.12).
Obviously, this is a very good example for other dioceses in Tanzania on how to sacrifice and renounce ourselves in order to support the needy among us.
