BUDAPEST: The annual national Holy Childood meeting on September 26th
The Pontifical Society of the Holy Childhood in Hungary along with Pontifical Mission Socities organise every year the annual gathering of the children. This year the gathering is organised in Budapest, on 26th of September. The members of the holy childhood, animators and some of the parents come for the gathering and take part in the celebrations. One this day from different communities we all come together to spend time together and share our joy with one another. This year we have special guest in the person of Sr. Ines Paulo Albino A.S.C., the general secretory of Pontifical Society of the Holy Childhood. We have requested her to encourage the children, animators and and parents those who will come for this gathering. We all are looking forward to meet her in person. On this day we have holy mass celebrated and offered for the Holy Childhood in Hungary and the world. We pray for the poor, sick and the orphan children very specially and spiritually we are united with them. Our theme for the gathering is ’the love of Christ unites us!’ We do beleive that it is the love of Christ brings us all together and unites us beyond the borders. Spiritually we are animated by our founder of the Holy Childhood Charles de Forbin-Janson as he said "My greatest joy is to make others happy". On this day we appreciate the children for committing themselves to be missionaries even at this young age who come forward to pray for the children of their own ages who are in other countries. As the theme of the Holy Childhood says, „Children help Children,” we motivate them to help the needy children with their small sacrifices and the prayers for the poor, sick and the orphan those who suffer greater needs. On this day, children enjoy the companies of one another, with different games, sports and handcrafts which they can take home alone with them or prepare the gift for some one. We are looking forward for all the children, parents and animators for this gathering.
