The bulletin of the Pontifical Society of the Holy Childhood reaches its 5-year milestone and, with this issue published in February, it reaches number 16. Sister Roberta Tremarelli, Secretary General of the Pontifical Society of the Holy Childhood, at the beginning of the editorial recalls the meaning of a publication of this kind with the aim to recount the Good and the Beautiful in order to in turn generate more. Sister Tremarelli also highlights the theme for this year chosen by the International Secretariat of the Pontifical Society of the Holy Childhood and expressed by the National Directions in the various annual activities, which is that of spiritual cooperation. "It is spiritual cooperation", writes the Secretary General of the Pontifical Society of the Holy Childhood, "that allows the spiritual panorama of evangelization to emerge, since prayer is the heart of Christian life and therefore of missionary action". Contemplation and mission, on the other hand, is the theme of the article by Father José Maria Calderón, National Director of the Spanish Pontifical Mission Societies, who explains: "Missionaries must first and foremost be contemplatives. It is from prayer that they draw their nourishment and strength". The publication continues with the column "The Voice of Children" where one can discover the many and varied activities that children and young people of Missionary Childhood carry out all over the world. Among the many initiatives and testimonies recounted in these pages we highlight the cultural sessions in schools in Malta, the Missionary Childhood competition of the Archdiocese of Lagos in Nigeria, the thanksgiving Mass of the Missionary Childhood boys and girls held in Los Angeles, the letters to missionaries written by the Spanish children of the Diocese of Mallorca, the pilgrimage of the Grand-Bassam diocese in Ivory Coast, the radio and television program for children and also animated by them of the Diocese of Masaka in Uganda, the accompaniment of children in early adolescence in the Queen of Missions Cathedral of the Berhampur diocese in India, and also the first communion manual preparation in Batroun in Lebanon. We continue with the annual meetings of the Archdiocese of Numea in New Caledonia, the St Kizito program for children in the Archdiocese of Cape Town in South Africa, the story of Missionary Childhood Day in the Diocese of Nkayi in the Republic of Congo, the St. John Kali Mori primary school in the diocese of Hyderabad in Pakistan, the annual mass of the Missionary Childhood animators in the diocese of Eldoret in Kenya, the Episcopal Commission for the pastoral care of Kemkogi children in Chad in the diocese of Pala and the annual festival of missionary song and dance with the biblical competition of the Archdiocese of Nampula, in Mozambique. The bulletin concludes with a report from the Diocese of Bafatà in Guinea Bissau and the experience of a little girl from the Maria Bodewig Boarding home in the Diocese of Shimoga in India.
