Pontifical Mission Societies are the central organization of the Catholic Church, which takes care of the growth and development of the young churches. It develops a missionary spirit in the faithful and organizes financial assistance for foreign missions.
- We teach people to manage their missions effectively, we lead them to respect for human dignity, solidarity and tolerance;
- We support about 44,000 schools, 5,500 hospitals and other social facilities;
- We help catechists, we provide funds for the construction and repair of church buildings or pastoral facilities, we support the activities of the Catholic media;
- We care for more than 3 million poor children, orphans and the elderly every year, supporting nearly 70,000 theologians in 754 missionary seminaries and 2,000 new priests.
