Blessed Pauline Jaricot, her life, her "call" to mission and her work are at the center of the animation video for young children created by the Direction of the Pontifical Mission Societies of Poland. It is part of a series of "Missionary Superheroes" that was created with the aim of telling the lives of saints and blessed with a simple language made of images, music and words. Telling how an ordinary life, touched by God's Grace can generate extraordinary fruits, is the goal of this series.
The three-minute video on Blessed Pauline Jaricot narrates the figure of this young woman from Lyon who at a certain point in her life, lived like all her peers, begins a "journey" of conversion that will lead her to place her whole life in God's hands. Pauline committed herself with fervent faith and concrete actions to transmit the central importance of evangelization in all environments where she came into contact, from the humblest to the most affluent.
Thus in 1822 she founded what was to become the Pontifical Society for the Propagation of the Faith and spread the Living Missionary Rosary throughout the world. On May 22, 2022, she was proclaimed blessed in Lyon during a Eucharistic celebration presided over by Cardinal Tagle.
